    Hi,

    CAT features three sections namely Verbal, Quant and DI/Reasoning where as GMAT features AWA, Verbal and Quant

    The quant section of CAT is definitely much tougher than that of GMAT. Also, the RCs of CAT are definitely much time taking compared to that of GMAT. Overall, CAT is definitely tougher than GMAT and you will need to learn more topics and advanced concepts to crack CAT.

    Of course, GMAT also tests your Reasoning and Comprehension skills in its own style but one can get adapted to these skills over a short period of time.

    Regarding the best institutes for CAT, you can consider TIME, CL and IMS

    For GMAT, you can consider Chopras, Manya, Jamboree etc;

    Also, you should find about the situation of these institutes in your locality as it depends upon the faculty available in a particular centre.

    All the best
