IF the chord is of length 2 cm then perpendicular length from center will be sqrt (3) and the greatest length so total cases is 2cm and the favourable cases is sqrt (3) thus the probability of this is sqrt(3)/2 i hope i am right pls provide the options also!! that will off course help

In case the chord is equal to the radius of circle, angle subtended by the chord of length R at the centre of the circle will be 60’

The angle can vary from 0’(a point ) to 180’( diameter)

If chord is more than radius, the angle will range from 60’ to 180’

Hence the probability that a chord will will be more than the radius of the circle is given by (120’-0’)/(180-0) = 0.66667 = 66.67%
