24 . first person can be taken in 4 ways, when one of the four members has been selected then the second member can be selected in 3 ways from among the remaining couples.similarly the last member can be selected in 2 ways and thus total number will be 4×3x2=24 ways

without any restriction 3 persons from 4 couples =8c3 =56 ways now all different people => 56 – no of ways a couple and a third person can be chosen =56-(4*6)=32 .......> 4 couples can be choosen in 4 ways and 3rd person can be choosen in 6 ways . ans =32.
