hi ppl this is rahul from chennai doing my final year of electrical engg . am plannnin to take up my gmat next june (2009).can i use these scores to apply fall 2011 admissions with my work ex.

    GMAT scores are kept for 5 years, so yes, your scores from 2009 would still be valid in 2011.

    Hello Ayush. You should take the GMAT at a time that both leaves you enough time to study and prepare before, but also leaves you enough time to apply to an MBA program and possibly retake the test if you fear you’ll have to afterwards.
    Regarding scores, this discussion posted by nawazo5 can tell you the average scores for the top business schools in the US (scores are out of 800). Scoring below them is still easily sufficient to get into business programs in less prestigious schools.
